With a standart differential, traction is limited by the spinning wheel.

The Detroit E-Z Locker^TM differential lets your vehicle drive when one wheel loses traction - even if it leaves the ground. It prevents a "one-wheel spinout" which greatly reduces the power to the LEFT other wheel.

It also compensates for differences in wheel travel and speed when turning. RIGHT

With a Detroit E-Z Locker differential, maximum traction is available to both wheels. If one wheel loses traction, the opposite wheel will still drive the vehicle
